Aaron is a Chartered Building Surveyor and the founder of AWA Building Consultancy. With over a decade of hands-on experience in the construction and property industry, Aaron specializes in project delivery and technical building surveying.
Aaron's career journey began in West Yorkshire at PSK Building Surveyors, where he gained valuable experience working on diverse projects within the education, retail, and office sectors. He then honed his skills at the City of London Corporation, focusing on the management and maintenance of historic buildings and undertaking works to the City’s investment portfolio.
After relocating to Preston, Lancashire, Aaron spent four years at AG Built Environment before establishing AWA Building Consultancy in 2023. His expertise spans a wide range of building types, from historic and ecclesiastical properties to modern office and industrial units.
In addition to being a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Aaron is also a qualified Principal Designer with the Association for Project Safety.

Following a successful 30-year career in education and leadership, Matthew joined AWA Building Consultancy in 2025 as a Project Manager. His extensive experience in leadership roles has equipped him with exceptional communication skills, a strong commitment to quality service delivery, and the ability to build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships.
Matthew is a qualified Project Manager through the Association for Project Management (APM). His dedication to fostering collaboration and delivering outstanding project outcomes makes him a valuable asset to the AWA Building Consultancy team.
